Overview

Perform record research, produce deed sketches, and prepare survey maps/plats.

Tasks

-Preparation of metes and bounds descriptions. -Research record documents and produce a deed sketch. -Assisting the RPLS with the Boundary Analysis and Boundary Resolution. -Preparation of survey plats and subdivision plats. -Data reduction of survey field work. -Full array of surveying and mapping services using the most current national, state, local and ALTA/ACSM standards.

What You Bring

-Experience with preparing metes and bounds descriptions, preferred. -Ability to complete physical labor for up to 12 hours per day. -Must be flexible, dependable, responsible and disciplined to be a positive representative for Halff and remain punctual on a consistent basis. -Understanding of Computer Technology (tablets, iPads, etc.) required. -Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time. -Ability and willingness to follow instructions that may be written, delivered verbally, or conveyed from various methods of communication. -Experience with Civil 3D, required. -3+ years of experience as a Survey Technician (Surveyor in Training (SIT) will also be considered). -Experience with preparing Deed Sketches, required. -Ability to pass a drug and background screen. -Experience in producing survey maps and plats, required. -Experience with Records Research, required. -Experience with Trimble software, preferred. -Scan-to-BIM/terrestrial lidar -Highly qualified staff with land surveying and remote-sensing experience. -Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.
