Overview

Develop and implement Power Platform solutions for DTRA acquisition logistics.

Tasks

-Develop instructions to support training the functional area users on software and hardware applications, file accessing techniques, and search strategies. -Using a suite of applications, services, connectors, and data platforms provide a rapid development environment to build and sustain custom Power App applications to meet DTRA requirements. -Use automation tools such as Power Automate to manage and improve Power Apps workflow, communications, and user experience. -Collaborate with DTRA IT to ensure development environment and security procedures comply with standards and requirements for Power Apps set-up and deployment. -Oversee all life cycle phases of software development to include conceptual analysis, requirements analysis, design, development, test and configuration, implementation, and deployment of various web sites, team sites, and/or web parts. -Use Power Pages to create professional external facing websites and webpages. -Create advanced data visualizations and analytics in Power BI to support data-driven decision-making for DTRA AL and required Directorate senior leadership. -Ensure priority projects/tasks are accomplished without adverse effect on regular and recurring assignments.

-Ability to identify, design, prototype, and support new initiatives in the following areas: improved communications and data exchange capabilities, improved storage capabilities, improved Enterprise Architectures, enhanced access controls, and the potential addition of new data sources. -Ability to identify users’ needs, requirements, and constraints to translate the user’s requirements into new initiatives that meet DTRA architecture standards. -Proficiency with Power BI, Power Pages, Power Apps, Power Automate, Office 365 SharePoint, and SharePoint Designer. -Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers. -Experience – Minimum of 4+ years of relevant professional experience. -Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations. -Specialized experience with Power Platform software to include deployment within web environment. -Ability to connect and ensure seamless integration with various data sources such as Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint for Power Apps data management. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Arobat, and Teams. -Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent obtained from an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. -Ability to perform configuration management and data management and provide quality and product assurance for the program. -Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
