Design, automate, and secure Azure cloud infrastructure for Transgrid's energy network.

Tasks

-Troubleshoot complex Azure environments and contribute to incident playbooks -Implement policy-as-code guardrails and security controls aligned to ISO and NIST standards -Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform templates for repeatable builds -Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions -Design, deploy, and optimise Azure infrastructure including compute, networking, storage, and identity

What You Bring

-Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills -Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Solutions Architect Expert, or DevOps Engineer Expert -Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. -Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell or Python and an automation-first mindset -Solid experience in Azure engineering across Virtual Machines, Kubernetes, Active Directory, networking, and storage -A strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks
