The Role

Overview

Design HVAC systems, manage projects & client relations for building services.

Tasks

-Develop HVAC engineering designs, heat load calculations, equipment selections, reticulation sizing, coordination, and documentation -Work closely and develop trusted relationships with other project stakeholders, notably architects, contractors, builders and end users to achieve efficient and costeffective solutions with a highquality outcome -Bring value to inhouse design/project meetings -Manage HVAC design projects in accordance with code and company quality standards -Adhere to Stantec professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures -Responsible for planning and managing projects from initial planning, concept and brief, through to installation and commissioning.

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of Revit and other software -Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines -Demonstrate technical knowledge, providing oversight and supervision to ensure successful project delivery. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Willingness to establish and maintain strong client relationships to formulate repeat opportunities -Hold a Mechanical Engineer Degree or equivalent -Positive, cando attitude and strong work ethic -Ideally have experience planning and managing successful projects -Ideally have 3 years previous HVAC design engineering experience in Consulting within the Building services industry -Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards
