Install and maintain residential/commercial solar PV electrical systems in Connecticut.

Tasks

-Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair damaged units -Executing plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning PV solar systems -Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them -Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components -Installing electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment

What You Bring

-Ability to climb ladders and work on pitched residential roofs -Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines -Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability -Required experience as an electrician preferred -Valid Electrical license in the state of CT -Experience in residential or commercial electrical systems preferred -Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts with paid overtime -Ability to lift up to 50 pounds -Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints -Ability to work in attics -A valid driver's license is required -Can work well independently and as part of a team
