The Role

Overview

Maintain, repair, and install HVAC and refrigeration systems for clients.

Tasks

-Clean, adjust and repair systems, and performs warranty services -Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements -Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems -Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions -Troubleshoot, calibrate and adjust pilots, thermostats and burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches and controls on electrical systems -Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently -Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment -Assist with customer queries inquiries -Provide technical direction and on-the-job training -Use common tools of the HVAC trade in daily work (e.g multimeter, refrigerant gauges, charging charts, hand tools etc.) -Identify maintenance risks on equipment -Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act

Requirements

  • 18+
  • hvac certification
  • 3 years
  • high school
  • driver's license

What You Bring

-Must be 18 years of age or older -Possession of refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification is preferred -Three (3) years of HVAC experience is preferred -High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required -Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license
