  • Perform finite elements analysis including development of FE models.
  • Performing structural steel framing design, foundation design, concrete framing design, civil/sitework design.

  • Assist with preliminary designs and construction quantity estimates.
  • Recognize and assist in change order requests.
  • Perform shop drawing reviews.
  • Using data from mechanical and electrical disciplines, as well as client and vendor information sources to prepare structural design.
  • Perform complex structural designs including: (foundations of vibrating equipment, large retaining walls at dump hoppers, steel hoppers, bins, and silos, modifications to concrete silos)
  • Develop design criteria for structural work.
  • Interact confidently with clients and maintain client satisfaction with our project execution and deliverables.
  • Assist in the development of structural drafting and design standards and new production methods to improve the company’s best practices, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Develop complex structural analysis models using STAAD, RISA, or other analysis program.
  • Issue and record drawing submittals and revisions.
  • Work with a diverse team of professionals, fostering networking opportunities.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in structural engineering with heavy industrial experience preferred.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer strongly preferred but not required. Strong structural engineering experience with a broad range of industrial project types.
  • Have strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD and ability to develop drawings.
  • Strong organization skills to effectively manage time and resources in the most efficient manner. The ability to multi-task on several projects and adapt to changing scope and deadlines. Diligent taking of notes during project discussions. Efficient and organized email communications.
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Structural or other discipline such as Civil).

The salary range for this role is $85,000-$110,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience & certifications.
