Tasks
The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project, and evaluating the cost to take on that project. The candidate will be familiar with our competitive advantages as an organization and will be able to communicate those to our benefit throughout the bidding process. -Keep track of tenders and upcoming jobs and also preparation of reports -Attending tender interviews with the client and negotiations -Proposing value engineering solutions and reducing costs -Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process -Preparation of tender documents. Quantity take off, Preparing RFQ, Costing and detailed BOQ, Contract conditions -Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates -Planning, programming and scheduling -Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information

What You Bring
Civil Estimator -Proven track record of winning tenders on civil, water, structures, roads and rail infrastructure -Be highly analytical with strong attention to detail -Solid understanding of basic accounting principles -Bachelor's degree civil engineering or equivalent experience -Ability to work autonomously or in a team -Strong communication and presentation skills -5 years' of civil construction experience preferred -Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans
