What you would be doing

Picking up litter from shared living spaces including external grounds.
Reporting any damage or maintenance issues to the property management team.
Dusting and polishing furniture and other surfaces, polishing metal fixtures and surfaces.
Monitor cleaning stock levels and communicate needs to the Assistant Residence Manager or Residence Manager. Assist in ordering stock to maintain appropriate inventory.
Using a smart phone / tablet, record & manage each studio clean: each studio clean is to be photographed prior to, and at the end of each clean.
Report any concerning behaviour of residents that could be an indication of welfare concern.
Cleaning windows and glass doors.
Disinfecting high-touch areas.
Wiping down surfaces such as handrails, door handles, light switches, and furniture.
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming carpets and hard floors.
Maintain waste management areas adhering to health & safety regulations, ensuring potential hazards are addressed / cleaned / tidied / reorganised as required.
Be on hand, delivering solutions to issues or challenges that may arise.
Cleaning the reception, hallways, stairwells, working spaces, dining areas and other shared spaces.
Be a point of contact for any potential incident or emergency that may occur onsite.

Excellent communication skills. English will be the primary spoken language; however multi-lingual skills would be warmly welcomed.
Housekeepers must understand and follow "Control of Substances Hazardous to Healthâ (COSHH) regulations to protect their health and safety when using cleaning chemicals.

Good understanding of COSHH regulations and practices
A well-versed housekeeping professional with experience in large, multi-room residence facilities such as luxury accommodation buildings, hotels or hospitals or office buildings.
Adaptability, creativity & positivity.
Able to carry out tasks that may involve extended periods of standing and repetitive movements, with reasonable adjustments considered where required.
