Laboratory Technician

Perform lab testing, calibrations, and reporting for automotive coatings at PPG.

Tasks

-Perform daily testing, calibration, measuring, and analysis and interact daily with Commercial, Technical Service, and Technical. -Perform physical and corrosion testing for OEMS by following specific test method procedures. -Maintain a safe working environment, wear all required PPE, and follow lab safety protocols. -Maintain documentation and standards required for ISO 17025 certification. -Execute projects and detailed reports according to mutually agreed upon timelines and goals. -Take careful measurements with laboratory tools -Perform daily lab maintenance activities and cleanups.

What You Bring

-0+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or laboratory environment -HS diploma, GED, or similar is required; AS degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry or similar. -1+ years of experience in a coatings/paint laboratory or similar testing environment is ideal.
