The Role

Overview

Prepare and analyze PFAS samples on 2nd shift using GMP/GLP procedures.

Tasks

-Prepare standard solutions and other reagents as needed -Perform prep/analysis of samples of various matrices for various analytical methods -Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate -Review, work up, and assemble all supporting data for work performed -Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner -Dispose of all chemical wastes using approved methods -Analyze/prep samples and QC for routine testing -Perform basic maintenance on equipment used for routine work

What You Bring

-Previous lab experience is a plus -Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship -Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field. Equivalent relevant experience may substitute for degree. -Environmental Science coursework or experience is a plus, but is not required -Use word processor and spreadsheet programs on PC -Read, understand, and carry out SOPs required by EPA or company methods, governing agencies, clients, and our internal QC department -Regular attendance and punctuality -Experience with instrumentation is a plus, including LC/MS or GC/MS -Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
