Tasks

-Complete construction plan sets by compiling all plan and profiles, notes, and detail sheets to present a comprehensive design. -Use Autodesk Civil 3D to perform accurate drafting and annotation for plan, profile, and detail sheets for various public work projects, including: water resources, drainage, pump stations/lift stations, water, wastewater, reuse water, paving, etc. -Manage small production teams -Complete redlines for modification of existing plans and notes or preparation of new details or design elements. -Coordinating and reviewing design drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper standards are followed.

What You Bring

-Have a working knowledge of CAD standards, features, and annotation styles, line styles, sheet set manager, and drawing setup. -Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing multi-step tasks. -Good verbal and written communication skills. -Experience working with engineers and senior designers. -Willingness to learn and expand capabilities. -Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work in a fast–paced environment dedicated to meeting deadlines. -Technical degree, certification or similar in Autodesk Civil 3D -Able to lead and teach others in Civil 3D -Ability to work in a team and work well with others. -10+ or more years of experience in civil engineering drafting, ideally in water, wastewater, facility, or Water Resources domain.
