Overview
Analyze and maintain GIS data/maps for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension project.

Tasks
-Support data management workflows, including metadata creation, quality control, and version control. -Collaborate with project engineers, planners, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate geospatial data integration. -Develop, maintain, and update GIS databases, maps, and spatial datasets for the ECWE-SRS project. -Produce high-quality cartographic outputs and visualizations for presentations, reports, and stakeholder communications. -Conduct spatial analysis to support project planning, design, and reporting requirements. -Ensure GIS data complies with company standards and industry best practices. -Assist in the collection and verification of field data using GPS and other surveying tools.

What You Bring
Amico Affiliates is seeking a highly skilled GIS Specialist to join the ECWE-SRS project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and visualizing geospatial data to support project planning, design, and execution. This role requires strong technical expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. -Proven experience in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent platforms. -Experience with spatial analysis, database management, and cartography. -Strong understanding of geospatial data formats, projections, and coordinate systems. -Post-secondary degree or diploma in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field. -Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. -Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. -Familiarity with CAD software is an asset.
