Tasks

As the HSE Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance across the project. You will work closely with both site management and project personnel to ensure that all HSE policies, procedures, and systems are effectively implemented and continuously improved. -Minimise environmental impact of construction activities -Conduct emergency drills and maintain response plans -Collaborate with project teams to promote safety culture -Conduct site inspections and risk assessments -Develop and enforce safety policies compliant with regulations -Provide HSE training and conduct safety meetings -Lead investigations of accidents and enforce corrective actions -Implement risk mitigation and emergency response plans -Maintain incident records and ensure environmental compliance -Liaise with regulatory agencies and inspectors

Elecnor is seeking a highly experienced and proactive HSE Manager to join our dynamic team for an exciting infrastructure project based in Te Aroha, in the Waikato Region of New Zealand. This is not a FIFO or DIDO role. The successful applicant will need to reside within a safe commuting distance to the project in Te Aroha. -Able to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams -Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) -Cert IV in Workplace/Occupational Health and Safety (tertiary preferred) -Driver’s licence -At least 7 years of experience in a similar HSE management role -Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills -Construction Passport -At least 5 years experience working in electrical or energy sector projects
