Create and deliver parts proposals/bids to grow steam turbine service business.

Tasks

-Provide pricing, lead time, and inventory recommendations to the Regional Parts Manager based on market feedback and assist with various tasks to enhance the Marketing and Sales Department’s effectiveness. -Prepare and deliver proposals and formal bids in line with pricing guidelines, ensuring timely responses to meet client expectations. -Foster client satisfaction through relationship-building, collaborative selling, and prompt issue resolution, escalating when necessary. -Leverage tactical and strategic tools to optimize order intake and profitability, while supporting regional forecasting and business improvement initiatives. -Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to create innovative solutions and initiate activities by entering orders into the ERP System. -Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with clients to secure business opportunities while utilizing Sales Force (CRM Tool) to pursue sales leads.

What You Bring

-Fluent in a second language -Willingness to travel up to 15% domestic and international to customer sites. -Associate's degree in business or technical field, or High School Diploma/GED and appropriate technical experience (such as reading drawings, looking at manuals and viewing specifications). -Experience with Oracle and/or SAP -Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills in the English language -Working knowledge and understanding of Siemens/Dresser-Rand’s Oil & Gas products, services and equipment or Steam Turbines, Trenton Legacy Products and/or Gimpel Valves -A minimum of 2+ years of experience in parts operations, marketing & sales and/or customer service or equivalent field. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level. -Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints to meet deadlines while being detail-oriented -Bachelor’s degree in business or related curriculum -Ability to read and interpret drawings and bills of materials -Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
