The Role

Overview

Field Engineer for line & grade tasks: stakeout, BIM checks, crew lead, as-built docs

Tasks

-Work with and lead multiple crews throughout the entire construction process. -As-built existing conditions and contract work to confirm correctness. -Check 3d models provided by our BIM department to ensure they match construction documents. -Prepare As-built documents for turn over to client. -Accurately maintaining all physical site dimensions and controls using Robotic Total Stations, GPS systems, and site level. -Review and understand construction drawings and identify discrepancies. Incorporates sketches and revisions provided as supplements to the drawings.

What You Bring

-Experience with AutoCAD, Excel, Bluebeam -Understanding of construction scheduling and cost control. -Accurate stake out of building lines including foundations, walls, embeds, and pipe work. -Experience with self-perform work which includes structural concrete, and water and wastewater stake out. -Prefer 2 years or more related job experience in the commercial construction industry
