Student, Asset Management (4-Month Contract)

Tasks

-Work cooperatively with the field team to facilitate timely delivery of lease documents. -Build an understanding and adhere to laws, regulations and other arrangements governing assets such as debt covenants and tenancy legislation. -Develop models in Excel to monitor existing assets and identify potential revenue generating and expense saving opportunities. -Execute ad hoc tasks related to gathering data and preparing reports for management. -Handle delivery, response, and management of property tax documents. -Support on updating dashboards by maintaining underlying data feeding into the dashboard. -Determine unit pricing based on prior renovations completed, current supply/demand, and relevant economic trends. -Address work orders pertaining to appliances in a timely manner to maintain excellent resident experience. -Review scope and costs of existing maintenance contacts and accurately upload relevant data into property management software. -Assist in the development of strategic plans for existing and potential real estate investments.

What You Bring

-Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. -Attention to detail for accurate data entry and analysis -Proficient in Microsoft Excel for the creation and management of financial models. -Currently enrolled in a co-op or internship program as part of your current Bachelor’s degree program. -Strong analytical skills to identify and revenue generating and cost saving opportunities. -Ability to work collaboratively within a team, fostering a cooperative work environment.
