Tasks

-Develop and maintain the staffing strategy for the department -Hold dotted line reports accountable through tier 2 meetings and daily accountability tracking -Partner with supply chain to ensure continuous alignment between demand forecasts and load/capacity plans to optimize schedule execution -Proactively implement, promote, and maintain a safe working environment through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, and policy enforcement -Manage operational process to track and understand key operational metrics and develop action plans to improve operational performance -Drive continuous improvement programs and process improvements by applying the Eaton Business System and problem-solving tools

-Experience with quality control techniques and quality systems (e.g. QS 9000, ISO 14001, ISO-9001, AS9100) -This position requires the use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be a U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee, or Refugee -Experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution -B.S. Degree in Business, Manufacturing, or Engineering -1+ year of supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing or operations environment -Machining experience -Experience leading in a cross-functional environment -1+ year of experience in a machining environment -Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future -3+ years of manufacturing or operations experience
