The Role

Overview

Design structural systems, perform analysis, coordinate with teams, and support construction.

Tasks

-Mentor and review work of other engineers and technical staff. -Prepare project materials, specifications, and structural configurations. -Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines to deliver well-integrated designs. -Engage in client meetings and industry networking events. -Support construction contract administration by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting site observations. -Contribute to internal technical training and knowledge-sharing initiatives. -Perform structural analysis and design through hand calculations and computer modeling.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in Bentley RAM, Tekla Structural Designer, and Autodesk Revit preferred. -Minimum of 3 years of structural engineering experience (may be reduced with MS or SE license). -Progress toward a Professional Engineer (PE) license (structural designation). -Strong understanding of building codes and structural materials (concrete, post-tensioned concrete, steel, masonry, and wood). -Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. -BS in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structural emphasis) from an ABET-accredited program; MS preferred.
