The Role

Overview

Design and support waterfront/coastal projects as an entry-level engineer.

Tasks

-Assist in the design and permitting of waterfront developments such as piers, marinas, and boardwalk -Develop plan sets for planning, regulatory review and construction using AutoCAD -Participate in site inspections and assisting in the preparation of reports -Support in construction contract administration tasks including fieldwork -Conduct technical analyses and performing basic calculations -Contribute to development of living shoreline erosion solutions designs -Support ongoing Waterfront/Coastal projects under the guidance of experienced engineers -Assist with dredging design and permitting processes -Assist in mooring and berthing analyses and design tasks -Analyze and support the design of structures for flood and erosion control, including seawalls, bulkheads, and breakwaters

What You Bring

-EIT preferred. -Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. -0-1 year of experience in Waterfront Engineering -B.S. in Civil, Structural, Waterfront, or Coastal Engineering. MS degree preferred. -Demonstrated technical and analytical skills, including technical writing and presentation skills.
