Tasks

-Oversee the development and implantation of a quality management plan and quality culture with stakeholder buy in -Performance Monitoring: Tracking project progress through metrics and reporting, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing requirements or challenges -Stakeholder Engagement: Communicating with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, and vendors, to ensure alignment and address any concerns -Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and compliance regulations -Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes -Project Planning and Strategy: Developing comprehensive construction plans, defining scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with organizational objectives -Accountable for safety, budget, quality, schedule, and profitability performance -Team Leadership: Leading cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders -Resource Management: Allocating resources efficiently, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope -Oversee and assesses design documentation, coordinating with relevant team members, and addresses issues related to the scope creep, cost optimization, procurement, completeness, accuracy, and quality of designs at different stages of development and construction -Manages and monitors areas identified from the design documents that require interdisciplinary coordination, scope gaps and technical risk -managing projects with $100M+ projects in sectors like general construction, electrical construction, manufacturing construction, technology or infrastructure (transportation, utilities, communication, buildings or energy) industries

What You Bring

-Strong history of leading, motivating and mentoring cross-functional teams -Successful background maintaining high safety standards and delivering quality outcomes -Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders -Project Management Software: Tools like MS Office Suite, Procore, CMiC, and P6 are commonly used for managing project schedules, budgets, and resources -Experience in developing and implementing project strategies, plans, schedules and budgets while working with project teams -Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adapt to changing project requirements -A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Project Management, Business Administration, or other technical discipline and approximately fifteen (15) + of related work experience including five (5) years in a leadership role -Proven track record in project management, particularly in the construction industry -Cloud-based Project Management Tools: These tools help in keeping all communications, documents, and tasks in one place, boosting teamwork and coordination -Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with experience assembling and leading project delivery teams -Strong knowledge of construction processes, laws, standards, and regulations -Experience in the following required: -Building Information Modeling (BIM): This technology is essential for planning, designing, and managing data center construction projects. It helps in creating detailed 3D models and improving collaboration among stakeholders -Established technical knowledge, encompassing construction and engineering processes, procurement, project controls reporting, and contract management -Sustainability Practices: Implementing energy-efficient strategies and sustainable construction practices is vital for modern data center projects -Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks -Proficiency in budget management, financial forecasting, and resource allocation -A valid driver’s license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel; travel is estimated at 70+%
