Assist Field Superintendent with crew scheduling, site prep, safety, and coordination.

Tasks

-Assist with Superintendent, Project Manager, and Foremen in the pre-planning of projects -Attend weekly scheduling meetings -Attend project site meetings as necessary -Supervise field crews to ensure safe work environment and execution of project -Provide feedback to Field Superintendent and Project Manager on current status of project and completion date -Assist Field Superintendent and Project Manager in Managing safe execution of job completion. -Assist Field Superintendent with daily activities including, but not limited to, crew scheduling, ordering of equipment, field planning which includes a variety of items such as materials coordination, safety documentation, coordination with engineering, project managers as well as customers. -Inspect project site prior to delivery / scheduling of crews to ensure site readiness and coordinate a plan with customer and internal teams.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s Degree -OSHA 10-hour certification -The ability to work with a variety of people -Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing as well as outside the organization -Well organized and sensitive to deadlines -Experience in the concrete and/or precast industry -Field: Must be able to traverse uneven ground, move minimum of 50lbs., spatial awareness/depth perception, climb on a flatbed semi-trailer -Must be open minded and have the ability to work effectively in stressful situations -High school diploma or equivalent -Works effectively as part of a team as a leader or contributor -Self-motivated and flexible within work environment -Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time -Three (3) years of experience in the construction industry and field operations -Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
