Tasks

-Direct the activities of other engineering professionals and act as a mentor to other staff members as needed. -Work with Project Manager and Project Controller on project reviews with management as needed.

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program with an Electrical Power emphasis. -Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office as well as standard Power Market Sector design software (examples include PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, and Revit) -Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently, as a lead on a multi-discipline consulting team, or as a lead on a small team are required. -Extensive experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector -Extensive knowledge of three-phase electrical power, protection and control design and settings development, system grounding, physical design, and experience with other activities such as lighting and grounding design, including instrumentation and control and life safety systems. -Position will include an expectation of less than 10% travel for meetings with clients and vendors as well as project site visits. -Professional Engineers (PE or P.Eng) license -A minimum of 10 years of experience -Previous experience with an engineering power consulting or EPC firm desired. -Bachelor's degree in Engineering -Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical power generation design. -Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems Engineering with an Electrical Power emphasis. -Candidate must have excellent communication, written and organizational skills. -Design experience with simple cycle and combined cycle power generation.
