The Role

Overview

Manage operations, staff, and resident relations for an apartment community.

Tasks

-Complete month-end and year-end reporting as required -Provide narrative of all monthly budget variances +/- 10% per line item -Analyze performance and trends to develop and implement monthly marketing plan -Supervise leasing and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with company policy -Assist in preparation of budget, and adherence to approved budgets -May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 20 pounds -Provide excellent customer service while maintaining the highest standards for resident service -Ensure that property operations are compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements -Trains, motivates and supervises all on-site staff in order to achieve operational goals of assigned community. This includes new employee orientation and training, ongoing formal and informal performance evaluation, review and approval of time-sheets, instructing and advising on-site staff of employee procedures and guidelines

What You Bring

-Three-plus years of related multi-family property management experience -May be required to sit for extended periods of time while working at a desk -Strong leadership and management skills are essential -A current, valid Driver's License is required -2+ years in tax credit or affordable housing experience is preferred -Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer -Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data -Experience with Onesite software a plus -May be required to climb stairs -Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
