Tasks
-Prepare CSI Master specifications for mechanical systems -Perform pressure drop and flow calculations to size mechanical systems -Design air and hydronic distribution systems, including ductwork and piping -Collaborate with the design team and assist in mentoring junior staff -Select appropriate mechanical equipment based on system type, size, and performance criteria -Conduct field inspections to assess existing mechanical systems and site conditions -Prepare construction documents, including mechanical plans, schedules, and details -Perform code analysis and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes -Perform HVAC load calculations, ventilation analysis, and energy modeling -Support construction administration by reviewing shop drawings, answering RFIs, and performing punch-lists

What You Bring
-LEED AP or equivalent sustainability credential preferred -Proficient in Trane Trace 700 or Carrier HAP -Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology (ASMET) or related discipline required -Minimum of 6 years of experience designing HVAC systems for commercial, healthcare, educational, or industrial buildings -Understanding of ASHRAE standards and relevant building codes -Proficient in AutoCAD -Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment -Positive attitude and collaborative mindset -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Experience working with A&E consulting firms preferred -Demonstrated ability to lead portions of a project and coordinate with clients and consultants -Familiarity with Revit is a strong plus -EIT preferred but not required -Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) -Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail
