The Role

Overview

Maintain electrical and mechanical building services, handling PPM and reactive tasks.

Tasks

-Deliver PPM across electrical and mechanical building services plant and systems in line with agreed schedules and statutory requirements. -Undertake mechanical and electrical fault finding, repairs, and minor installations as required. -Supervise subcontractors and ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety procedures. -Build and sustain strong working relationships with clients and on-site representatives through professional and proactive service delivery. -Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance certification. -Ensure all maintenance work is completed to the highest standards and within SLA timeframes. -Act as a Low Voltage Authorised Person (LVAP), maintaining electrical distribution and lighting systems.

What You Bring

-Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach. -Recognised Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship / trade qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent). -18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (essential for electrical bias). -Strong technical knowledge across both electrical and mechanical disciplines in a building services environment. -Sound understanding of statutory compliance and safe systems of work. -LVAP certification (essential); HVAP certification or willingness to achieve it (desirable). -Demonstrated experience in PPM, reactive maintenance, and fault diagnosis within commercial sites.
