Tasks

-Keep up to date with legislation and cascade key updates to your team -Provide management, leadership and control of a team comprising Sub Agents, Section Engineers, Site Engineers and Foremen -Manage handover documentation and self-certification of works -Allocate resources effectively and arrange training as required -Produce cost plans, manage commercial risk schedules, and provide reports for weekly project meetings -Motivate, coach and develop your team, monitoring competencies and performance -Carry out Safety & Environment Tours and lead risk reviews, supporting a robust H&S management system -Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm and set targets aligned with project objectives -Support procurement processes and advise on commercial aspects -Set and monitor quality targets and KPIs, overseeing audits and implementing improvement actions -Analyse and improve productivity, manage sub-contractor performance, and adapt programmes to site circumstances

-Respect—giving and receiving constructive feedback -Experience in resource allocation, reading technical drawings and design management -Strong work ethic and flexibility to work unsociable hours or nights as required -Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills -Proficient IT and report writing skills -Understanding of business management systems and quality handover requirements -Holds a current driving license and CSCS Card. -SMSTS qualified. -Ability to make informed decisions and resolve issues with a solution-oriented approach -In-depth understanding of H&S legislation and company systems -Holds a current driving license and CSCS card, and is SMSTS qualified -Ability to analyse and improve stage programmes and manage sub-contractor KPIs -Experience in pavement reconstruction and surfacing operations -Positivity—challenging poor performance and fostering innovative solutions -Proven leadership skills, able to manage teams and cascade key messages effectively -Clarity—communicating clearly, making fast decisions and promoting collaboration
