Tasks

-Conduct audits of contractor safety programs & field activities as directed -Work with the Safety Team to provide training as needed -Respond to accidents/incidents on the project as directed -Work within the Safety Team to provide oversight of contractor safety program -Report, within the Safety Team, on project safety activities and performance -Provide reports, as directed, on the contractor’s safety performance -Attend regular safety meetings

What You Bring

-Experience on large transportation projects including design-build programs -Minimum of C.H.S.T. or equivalent certification. ASP, CSP or degree in safety desired (or be able to obtain in within 6 months) -Experience on Transit, Rail (Heavy/Light), Bridges, Roads, Utility Relocation, and similar construction -OSHA 30 Hour certification -OSHA 500 Trainer Certification preferred. -Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a full time Heavy/Civil construction management role -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Strong computer skills including use of Information Management Systems
