The Role

Overview

Supports solar/BESS project commissioning, troubleshooting, and on-site coordination.

Tasks

-Coordinate and perform field troubleshooting of commissioned equipment, to include generating methods of procedures. -Provide training to subcontractors and 3rd party vendors, training to include LOTO and Energized Zone Training -Participate in daily/weekly progress meetings. -Work performed around hazardous equipment. -Maintain commissioning logs, equipment checklists and LOTO logs. -Maintain documentation for all equipment and systems required on projects. -Work under general guidance to coordinate and perform commissioning activities. -Assist in the startup of commissioned equipment. -Assist in preparation of plans at beginning of projects for receiving, storing, and managing materials and tools as required.

What You Bring

-Able to walk or move continuously while carrying 50 lbs. of tools and/or materials. It is -5+ years of relevant experience. -Must have strong communications skills (in English) both verbal and written. -Work performed in confined areas. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. -Must be able to work extended hours on your feet on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel etc. full range of motion and flexibility consistent with requirements of the job duties. -Travel up to 100% as needed. -General understanding of SCADA infrastructure. -Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position -Required repetitive movement. -Practical and applicable knowledge of test equipment, to include multimeters, clamp-style ammeters, insulation resistance testers and ground fault finders. -Practical and applicable knowledge electrical concepts. -Ability to manage time and work priorities independently. -NFPA 70.E Certification. -Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time. -OSHA 30 Certification. -Excessive humidity, rain etc. -Ability to read and interpret schematics. -Practical and applicable knowledge of PV systems, to include DC and AC components. -Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces -Work performed at low and/or high elevations -Able to climb and maintain balance of ladders, scaffolding, stairways etc. -Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate with others is necessary.
