Tasks

-Erects scaffolding for buildings and other structures and install ladders, handrails, -Cut plywood to fit and nail to platform area -Transport tubular scaffold to the site and erect the scaffold to the dimensions required -Install batter boards; safety requirements for building work; and operation of pneumatic and electric power tools -Hammer material to each locking section -Hoist scaffold board to the top section to be used as a working platform and level all sections -May rig materials -Secure scaffold to the structure

-Finish carpentry work; able to read tape/ruler; set screeds; material takeoff from drawings -Must have tools commonly required for Industrial Civil Carpentry -General knowledge of OSHA, site, and JEMCI requirements -Read blueprints; advanced layout; use of Simon forms; layout of anchor bolts -NCCER Certified Preferred -Knowledge of standards for acceptable scaffold erection and Civil Carpentry -Must have knowledge and ability to build forms and set forms -Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience
