- Competency in Microsoft Word & Excel and ability to quickly learn new software and able to demonstrate proficient knowledge of and ability to apply OHS & Environmental requirements.
- Understanding of safe working practices, including traffic management, to review contractor OH&S procedures and recommend improvements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build, manage and influence effective relationships with contractors and internal/external stakeholders. Should have the ability to discuss, communicate in confidence with staff, contractor’s, consultants at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience performing surveillance of civil infrastructure projects construction (Traffic control, Station boxes, segmentally lined tunnels and cross passage works).
- Technical expertise and knowledge of civil construction principles and practices with sound knowledge of contract documentation including specifications, drawings and standards pertaining to the surveillance of construction works and operation of quality assurances practices.
