Tasks

The Senior Electrical Project Manager manages the full electrical bidding process, including distributing bid documents, answering bidder questions, issuing addenda, evaluating proposals, and negotiating final contracts. This position provides direct oversight of the project, ensuring electrical work is installed per plans and specifications, quality and safety standards are maintained, and all deliverables are met. The Senior Electrical Project Manager monitors daily progress, supports field leadership, ensures compliance, and reports project status to company leadership. Projects are commercial in nature and require strong command of electrical construction operations. The Senior Electrical Project Manager oversees planning, coordination, and execution of large commercial electrical construction projects from inception through completion. The role ensures all client requirements for electrical functionality, standards, and performance are met, while maintaining schedule, safety, quality, and budget. -Lead full project life cycle for large electrical projects -Schedule and coordinate electrical design requirements -Verify all licenses, permits, and inspections are completed -Enforce safety plans and jobsite health requirements -Select sources for electrical materials and equipment -Ensure subcontractors deliver work on time and within scope -Support accurate billing, procurement, and cost control -Plan, direct, and coordinate all electrical construction activities -Enforce safety rules and regulatory compliance -Ensure work meets plans, specs, standards, and regulatory requirements -Support planning, troubleshooting, and coordination -Develop accurate schedules and project documentation -Perform ongoing inspections for quality and safety -Track material purchases, labor hours, and payments -Coordinate with inspectors and agencies on electrical code matters -Verify all electrical installations meet quality and code requirements -Hire and oversee subcontractors for electrical scopes -Organize crews and drive accountability for productivity and performance -Manage electrical work performed on project. -Oversee material, tool, and equipment delivery and management -Maintain oversight of labor, materials, and subcontractor costs

What You Bring

Software Proficiency During construction, the Senior Electrical Project Manager must have strong knowledge of electrical trades, materials, equipment, and installation methods. The role identifies potential issues early, manages electrical change orders, and ensures all scope changes are handled fairly and accurately. -10+ years of construction project management experience -Effective problem-solving and decision-making -Strong supervisory and leadership ability -Degree in Construction Management or Project Management preferred -High School Diploma or equivalent required -Strong communication and attention to detail -Experience leading large-scale commercial and/or data center projects -Ability to schedule, coordinate, and manage multiple tasks -Equivalent field experience accepted -Proven success managing projects above $40 million dollars -Deep knowledge of electrical construction practices -Proficiency with construction-related software
