Tasks

-Operate and set up CNC press brakes, shears, and punches to shape and form metal parts with precision. -Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and process sheets to ensure components meet exact specifications. -Select and install appropriate punches and dies based on material specifications. -Take ownership of your work—ensuring first-time quality, maintaining an organized workspace, and proactively solving problems before they impact production. -Use advanced measuring tools (calipers, protractors, tape measures) to verify dimensions and tolerances. -Follow all safety protocols and support a culture of continuous improvement -Load programs, configure machine settings, and fine-tune operations to ensure optimal performance. -Perform secondary operations such as sawing, laser cutting, and tube bending as needed. -Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues such as incorrect bends, material inconsistencies, or tool wear.

What You Bring

-Press brakes -Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, tape measures). -2+ years of experience operating and programming CNC press brakes (Cincinnati, Accurpress, or similar) -Proficiency in tooling setup, bend allowances, and material properties (aluminum, stainless steel, steel). -Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work within tight tolerances. -Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize machine performance for first-time quality. -Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to train or mentor less experienced operators (a plus) -Proficiency with fabrication equipment such as: -Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation, sheet metal fabrication, and metal forming processes. -Shears and Punches. -Flat sheet lasers
