Overview

Cost definition and initial design of custom HVAC air handlers.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Creation of costs of material and labor and creation of drawings including: -Developing quotation documents. -Generating costs for the product using proprietary software. -Creating drawing packages using AutoCAD and IronCAD. -Participating in customer and vendor visits. -Reading and analyzing specifications in order to determine the price structure of a project. -Engineering selections of components to meet the intent of the specifications.

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of 3D modelling software such as IronCad, Solidworks or SolidEdge. -Engineering degree or diploma with eligibility or membership in APEGA or ASET. -Strong proficiency in both verbal and written communication. -3-5 years equivalent experience -Keen attention to detail and organizational skills. -Proficiency in problem solving and critical decision making. -Familiarity with design models. -Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities.
