Tasks

Review electrical designs and early development plans. Manage electrical work packages so they meet programme, cost and quality targets. Review specifications and employer requirements for tendering. You’ll join the Grid and Electrical team and work across the full lifecycle of large renewable projects. You’ll be involved from early development through design reviews, tendering, construction and commissioning. The work covers wind, solar and battery storage and includes coordination with contractors, OEMs, consultants and grid operators at voltages from LV to 220 kV. It suits someone who wants hands-on responsibility and clear project ownership. Support commissioning and work with grid operators during testing and export ramp-up. Attend site meetings and track progress against the construction schedule. Keep project trackers and documentation up to date. Coordinate with contractors and utility companies on contestable grid works.

What You Bring

Witness FAT and SAT for major electrical equipment. Experience on renewable project electrical packages. AutoCAD skills. Experience in HV or MV substations or similar electrical infrastructure. Degree in Electrical Engineering. Experience with contestable grid design and delivery. Full driving licence. Work with Irish transmission or distribution operators.
