Overview

Operate water, dump & concrete trucks to transport materials on construction sites.

Tasks

-Inspects material to ensure it has been loaded correctly and is secure and reviews shipping documents to verify all information is accurate. -Report to and assist immediate supervisor. -Assemble or disassemble equipment or material on construction projects. -Work performed in confined areas -Interpret hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed. -Perform quality work as determined by project specifications. -Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, water and all fluids and performs pre and post trip inspections. -Manipulate equipment on unleveled working surfaces. -Accountable for all tools and materials at the end of your shift. -Practice safety rules. -Move hand and foot levers to control operating equipment.

What You Bring

-Work performed at low and/or high elevations -Follow verbal and written instructions. -Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways, etc. -DOT drug screen/physical. -Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation. -Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.) -Excessive humidity, rain, etc. -Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces (towers, vessels, excavations, etc.). -Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time. -Must be able to pass physical examination, pre-employment if necessary, and as required by the company. -Driver must be in DOT compliance at all times. -Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in specified skill (Commercial Driver Licenses). -Able to carry 50 lbs. of tool and/or materials. It is recommended to get assistance to lift items over 50 lbs. Check with your project supervisor or project safety director. -Must be register DACH -Safe use of hand & power tools. -Must be able to work extended hours on your feet on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel, etc.) -Must work well as part of a team. -Must comply with company’s drug and alcohol abuse policy. -CDL B required
