Overview

Oversee and ensure quality management for transportation projects

Tasks

-Monitor implementation of company standards and practices as appropriate -Assist in identifying and documenting issues that may cause, or contribute to, deviations from planned/expected outcomes and develop corrective action plans to address issues -Verify that project teams have team members with right experience and capability -Lead QA/QC-related discussions during project team meetings -Verify adequacy of internal quality reviews -Work with the Project Manager in development of project-specific QMPs and verify that QMP is current and up to date -Conduct conformity reviews in accordance with QMs -Work with Program/Project Managers to assess and incorporate lessons learned and client feedback from project reviews and client meetings -Manage design review and comment resolution process (schedule meetings with reviewers, negotiate mutually acceptable resolutions, escalate disputed issues, and track open comments to closure) -Monitor QM needs for project/program -Effectively implement and use company, client or regulatory document management expectations -Manage quality deliverable schedule, and ensure coordination between design discipline reviews -Provide internal and external project reporting on quality-related activities, issues and corrective actions -Train project/program staff on QMP/PMP requirements -Report production risk areas to the Program/Project Manager and Regional Quality Director -Serve as member of project team that assists in development of project-specific Quality Management Plans and works in close cooperation with the Project Manager and Task Leads for monitoring and oversight of project quality activities -Oversee subconsultant quality activities and deliverable review -Provide mentoring through regularly scheduled conformance reviews -Establish project quality processes and monitor implementation and effectiveness of those processes

What You Bring

-A minimum of 10 years in similar consulting industry and a minimum of 15 years in specific technical area covered -Proven skills in the areas of Project Management, Quality Management on large projects -Deep understanding of QMS fundamentals -Strong verbal and written communication with investigative interview experience, project and quality management software systems -20 years in similar consulting industry and 10 years in specific technical area covered -Bachelor's degree in Professional or Engineering-related field -PE for design Engineering business lines -Appropriate Quality Certifications such as ASQ and/or CQA
