Tasks

-Stay updated on industry codes, regulations, and best practices to ensure high-quality design solutions. -Assist in preparing technical specifications, design drawings, memos, and reports. -Provide technical or operational guidance to less experienced engineers, EIT’s and technicians. -Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to evaluate the electrical conditions and provide recommendations. -Perform electrical analyses, calculations, and routine tests in compliance with applicable codes and standards. -Identify discrepancies in results and propose solutions using sound engineering judgment. -Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to fulfill project scope, budget, and timeline.

What You Bring

-Ability to recognize and adhere to established deadlines and schedules is a must. -Proficiency with engineering calculations and preparing technical documentation. -Good written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency essential). -Experience in sectors such as Water & Wastewater, Transportation, Buildings, and Sustainability (PV and EV systems). -Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering + four (4) years of relevant professional experience -Self-motivated, detail oriented and multi-tasking. -Ability to fit into a fast-paced team environment and/or work independently. -Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario in good standing. -Experience in design tools: AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, SKM, or similar. -Solid Knowledge of power systems: MV/LV distribution, lighting, controls, renewable energy systems.
