Tasks

-Comply with all safety regulations and building codes. -Conduct tests to locate and diagnose system malfunctions. -Inspect installation sites to ensure safety and adequacy of wiring. -Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems. -Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. -Communicate effectively with clients. -Stay updated with new technologies and tools in the field. -Follow blueprint and schematic diagrams to determine the location of wiring and equipment.

What You Bring

-Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician in a similar role. -Must be able to pass a criminal background check. -Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints. -Excellent verbal and written skills. -Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring. -Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills. -Ability to see and distinguish a full color spectrum. -Must have the availability to be on call to address emergencies, delays, bad weather, etc. -5 years' experience in this role is required; 10 years or more is preferred. -Valid driver's license with excellent driving record. -Strong physical condition to lift heavy equipment up to 50 lbs. and work in various conditions including but not limited to indoor/outdoor, ladders, tight spaces. -Ability to be bonded if necessary for work assignments. -Bi-lingual is a plus.
