The Role

Overview

Design, analyze, and oversee stormwater, drainage, and erosion control projects.

Tasks

-Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. -Finalize technical reports, drawings, and specifications. -May coordinate or supervise assigned staff. -Collaborate with civil engineers and project leaders to develop engineering plans and specifications to meet project goals. -Perform hydraulic modeling and analysis. -Prepare project proposals and cost estimates. -Conduct site visits and field inspections to gather data and assess project requirements.

What You Bring

-PE License -EI Certification -Technical expertise in the design and development of drainage design, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management analysis. -Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. -CCR Certification -Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related field. -Consultancy experience. -A strong work ethic with excellent organizational, communication, computer, technical writing, and team building skills. -4-8 years of related civil design experience in the field of water resources, stormwater management, and/or erosion and sediment control. -Proficient knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices. -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and other relevant software.
