Tasks

-Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times. -Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings. -Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. -Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products. -Maintain high standards of personal appearance, uniform and grooming. -Delivers outstanding customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer. Discovers and responds to customer needs. -Follows Starbucks as well as the property's operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift. -Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions. -Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel. -Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. -Approach all encounters with guests and associates in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner. -Communicates information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create a warm and welcoming environment during each shift. -Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that associates can locate resources and product as needed. -Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed

What You Bring

-Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests. -Ability to stand during entire shift. -Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with fellow associates and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner. -Must be available to work some weekends. -Constant reaching, turning, and performing precision work -Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team. -Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. -Must be able to multitask and prioritize to ensure outstanding service. -Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds
