Project Engineer

Overview

Manage civil road/asphalt projects from planning to close-out in NT.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Prepare and submit progress claims and invoices. -Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. -Assist with tender handover, planning and contract and risk management and project close out. -Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. -Engage and manage subcontractors and suppliers. -Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards. -Coordinate project delivery.

What You Bring

-An understanding of project management as well as engineering principles and construction methods. -Tool of Trade Vehicle -An understanding of planning, execution and reporting of projects. -Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero Harm environment. -Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering. -Exposure to civil road construction or an asphalt environment would be highly advantageous. -Proven ability to manage and monitor projects against time, cost, quality and safety requirements. -A successful track record of proactively building relationships with key clients, stakeholders and developing new business opportunities.
