  • Maintain a comprehensive log of all variations, changes, and claims.
  • Contract and/or variation/change management on large construction projects.
  • Prepare submittal documents and participate in the review process.
  • Liaise with relevant project departments to develop solutions and responses to variation enquiries.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all variations.
  • Reduce crowding on the existing Line 1 (Yonge-University) subway.
  • Support the Variation Manager in the negotiation and resolution of variations, changes, and claims with the Contracting Authority.
  • Coordinate the data and documentation required for impact assessments.
  • Manage the estimation and proposal process for assigned variation/change enquiries.
  • Improve the quality of life for commuters by reducing daily travel time.
  • Provide regular updates to the Variation Manager and other project stakeholders on the status of variations.
  • Review and analyze change orders and contract modifications for potential impacts on the project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and documentation to assess the impact of variations on schedule, resource and cost.

  • Analytical mindset with evidence-based decision-making skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving, synthesis and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and with clients.
  • construction experience as Project Manager or Project / Site Coordinator.
  • (Optional) RRSP matching
  • Ownership, autonomy, commitment, and an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Advanced computer literacy (MC Office); intermediate proficiency in MS Project
  • Experience working within the Rail Corridor is considered an asset.
  • 3-5 years of experience in one of the following areas:
  • A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Good time management and organization skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
