The Role
Overview
Assist with shipping/receiving, load trucks, manage inventory in warehouse.

Tasks
-Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness/cleanliness at all times. -Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program. -Assist with shipping and receiving, loading & unloading trucks, and scheduling freight carriers to pick up and deliver freight -Filling sales orders, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated assembly area. -Demonstrate and understand compliance of the company’s safety processes. -Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. -Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped. -Weighing and counting items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards. -Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. -Gathers and positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

What You Bring
-Valid Driver’s license required -Flooring Industry knowledge is a plus -Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology. -Forklift Certified preferred. -Requires up to 8 hours of standing/walking (with breaks). -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times. -Work in a fast pace environment with accuracy. -1-year experience in warehouse work environment preferred. -Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low -Experience and ability using computer programs preferred -Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory. -Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. -RFMS Systems Experience is a plus -High School Diploma or GED Equivalent -Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
