The Role

Overview

Assist commissioning of new water/water recycling assets, supporting testing and handover.

Tasks

-Support the development of key commissioning documentation, including plans, test procedures, and reports. -Contribute to risk assessments and impact plans to safeguard supply continuity and water quality. -Support the handover process to ensure new assets are fully tested, documented, and ready for reliable operation. -Help optimise water and water recycling processes during start-up and testing phases. -Assist in planning and carrying out commissioning activities for new water and water recycling projects. -Participate in Factory and Site Acceptance Testing, control system verification, and functional testing. -Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, seamless integration of new assets into live operational networks.

What You Bring

-A recognised M&E apprenticeship and/or a Level 3 (ONC or BTEC) or HNC qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. -Familiarity with electrical systems, MCCs, PLCs, instrumentation, and process control (desirable). -Experience or understanding of water or water recycling operations (desirable). -A valid UK driving licence (essential).
