Overview

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision components.

Tasks

-Setup CNC machines, including loading materials, inputting programs, and ensuring proper dimensions -Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area -Operate CNC machines to perform machining operations, such as turning, milling, drilling, and cutting -Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects -Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as lubricating and cleaning -Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance -Review and interpret blueprints, sketches, or other technical drawings to understand the dimensional specifications and requirements for each job -Monitor machine operation, making any necessary adjustments to ensure the quality and accuracy of the finished product -Inspect finished components to ensure they meet the required tolerances and quality standards -Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process

What You Bring

-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints -Experience in operating CNC machines, knowledge of various machining techniques -Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist -Standing or walking for long periods of time -Must be able to work indoors and outdoors including times of inclement weather -Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize workload effectively -Proficiency in programming languages such as G-code -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Familiarity with tooling and cutting techniques -Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
