Lead and mentor project controls, manage budgets, forecasts, and project performance.

Tasks

-Facilitate project closeout process and ensure subcontractor and vendor purchase order closeout. -Perform and execute project controls functions. -Review monthly project cost to complete forecasts and ensure forecast is aligned with project performance trends and accurately depicts project cost at completion. -Lead the establishment of project phase codes and budgets in company accounting system -Perform, train and mentor all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year-end deliverables. -Ensure project accounting teams achieve common goals, collaborate, develop and implement consistent practices across all business units. -Internal audit of project accounting practices, including billing, AR follow-up, lien waivers, PO reconciliations, change orders, subcontract management, and contract requirements. -Monitor project cash position and drive timely accounts receivables and accounts payable. -Ensure project schedule aligns with project scope of work, execution plan/strategy and revenue goals. -Monitor P&L status of all projects. -Monitor project performance against baseline plan -Monitor and audit project job cost and profitability status. -Work in collaboration with Business Unit Directors, and Operations teams to achieve common goals. -Participate in project risk assessment and mitigation -Identify when project schedule and budget performance is trending negatively and provide project execution teams with support in performance recovery. -Facilitate monthly Work in Progress Reviews with Project Managers and company leaders.

What You Bring

-Experience with Ecosys and/or Viewpoint software. -Proficient in Excel, MS Office, Primavera and/or MS Project, Ecosys, Viewpoint, and Document Control programs. -Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Construction Management, Project Controls, Project Management. -Complete understanding of project budget, schedule and key performance indicators -Ability to understand prints and contract. -Knows and understands the required federal and state codes. -Office mobility, Ability to travel up to 100%, and work in challenging weather conditions. -5-10 years of Project Control experience in Solar, Renewable Energy or Power Generation Construction. -Self-Perform Construction -Effective communication (both oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills. -Able to perform duties in a fast-moving environment. -Self-disciplined, motivated, able to work with limited direct supervision, self-sufficient problem solver. -Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. -Ability to travel to project sites monthly. -Able to quickly adjust to changing priorities. -Understanding of self-perform construction, construction processes, cost coding, progress measurement and overall project health monitoring.
