Overview

Assist with estimating, budgeting, and overseeing site improvement development for luxury communities.

Tasks

-Assist in the development of budgets -Oversight of daily land development field operations -Assist in managing contractors, verifying work completed/monitoring progress -Participate in meetings with government agencies/inspectors/HOA’s -Invoice review/coding, issuing Purchase Orders & Change Orders -Assist in the development/maintenance/management of project development schedules -Organizing land development work with homebuilding operations -Help in the analysis of bids/contracts/change orders

What You Bring

-Beginner knowledge of scheduling software -Ability to learn all aspects of site development which includes grading, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, and water systems and roadways -Analytical thinking, able to collect, sort and analyze data -Communicating: able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally across all levels, both internally and externally -Beginner knowledge of Microsoft office suite -You have the experience demonstrating the following knowledge and skills -Beginner construction drawing comprehension -Recent College Graduate or up to 1-year Relevant (Engineering, Construction Management) Experience -Ability to interpret construction plans -Beginner knowledge of entitlements/due diligence -Ability to perform quantity takeoffs from plans -Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Construction Management or Civil Engineering -Self starter, able to identify problems and initiate ways to solve them
