Tasks

-Assists in preparing control documents for the use in reconciling payroll transactions. -Responsible for reconciling payroll data and timecards to ensure they are in accordance and reported by company policy and/or current labor agreement. -Administers and maintains payroll database and employee payroll files. -Must maintain highly confidential and sensitive information. -Assists employees with questions about payroll and other payroll related issues. Ensures payroll issues are escalated and resolved promptly. -Responsible for timecard review and verification. -Responsible for reconciling computation of pay and associated deductions for accuracy.

What You Bring

-Strong ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with internal and external customers. -Accurate punctuation, spelling, and grammar skills are essential. -Experience with certified payroll. -Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. -A working knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes, at a level normally acquired through an associate degree in business administration or accounting; and -Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding payroll. -2 years' experience in payroll. -Certified Payroll Professional certificate. -Knowledge in the use of Adobe PDF and advanced knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office applications. -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
