The Role

Overview

Maintain and repair trucks, equipment, perform DOT inspections, and support field service.

Tasks

-Perform DOT inspections for trucks and trailers -Work closely with Equipment & Compliance Manager to keep repairs on track and budgets accurate -Handle scheduled maintenance to prevent downtime -Order parts and ensure quality standards are always met -Keep our shop organized, safe, and efficient -Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles and equipment -Work in all weather conditions in an outside setting for longer periods of time -Join the on-call rotation for service calls

What You Bring

-Ability to demonstrate use of tools, both hand and powered -Required to sit and stand for extended periods of time -Extensive standing, stooping, walking, reaching, handling, and grasping with repetitive motions -Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in similar capacity -Capability to work overtime hours including weekends and evenings, as needed -Possession of valid driver's license with reliable transportation to/from shop -Basic knowledge of gas and diesel engine mechanics, hydraulic systems, and spray systems (industrial painting equipment), preferred -Effective problem-solving skills under very limited supervision -Must be able to lift 50 pounds
